"No Sound"

Has anyone ever tried to play a video game without sound? I man the game is on and you see everything but it is completely quiet. I have had to play like this for almost a month and a half. It is completely annoying. let me tell how this all happened.

It was a nice day, I do not remember what day it was exactly but, I just got to my room and was done with classes for the day. so t I thought, I have a little time to myself let play the xbox 360 for a little bit before I start some work. It is about 6 o'clock and I am playing the championship game in fifa 13. All of a sudden I hear this fizzing noise. It sounded like someone had a really small taser and was playing with it. I did not really pay attention to it at first, I was to focused on the game. it took me a little bit to notice that it was really quiet in my room. All I can hear was the birds outside. I did win the game 3-2. I was  not sure why the sounds went out. so I talked to a representative for xbox to see if they knew. Me and this person were talking for about an hour. trying thing with the xbox to see if the sound would come back on. nothing worked at all. therefore  was stuck with no sound. I went and two weeks without sound on the game. The worst was trying to play Call of Duty with no sounds. You can't hear the other team around you and it messes with your reaction time. at least it messed me up completely. So I stopped playing.

It took about another two days for me to take the xbox to my girlfriends place and try it there. It worked perfectly fine. It was not the xbox. It's not dead yet, but my television cannot play the sound on the game anymore. So for now the xbox is staying in my girls place until I can figure something out with my television.

The Good Old Days

When I was younger I remember playing plenty of games. I played on consoles such as NES, Sega Genesis, and Nintendo 64. Some of the games I played back then I would still play today. They are great games and I think some of them will be around forever. Here is a list of games that I played that I think were some of the best games out.

Street Of Rage      

This game was one of the first games i played when i was a kid. The simple fighting action in it was amazing at the time. As a kid just playing the game and being the one guy no enemy in the game beat up. No matter how many of them there are.  

NFL Blitz

        NFL Blitz was one of the games i played mainly for entertainment reasons. Just to the players throw each other around and to see the way they hit each other in the game was always fun.  

NBA Live 95

           I used to play this game with my uncle. we would sit for hours and play this game. playing game after game scoring 100 or more points a game. Completely blowing out the other team. The col thing was that we would turn off all the fouls in the game. Every time the other team had the ball we would foul them and get back the ball. one time we scored 300 point in one game. It was to much fun. 

Madden NFL 94

The one thing i remember about this game is playing with my uncle. We would play against each other and he would beat me every time by at least 30. However i never used to care about the score it was just a lot of fun to play.

Metroid Prime 64

          Metroid Prime was the first first person game i played. at the time i was not ready for it. I would always be jumping every time an enemy came onto the screen. beside me being a baby the game was fun. 

Pokemon Red & Blue 

          This game pretty much took over my world when i got it. i would pick it up and have it in my hands for hours. Just looking at the screen and trying to capture every pokemon in the game. still this day i have not beat any of the pokemon games. One day I will.

Sonic the Hedgehog

           Still to this day it is one of the more fun and addicting games to play. The fast pace running and looping. All of which somewhat requires good timing.  

Street Fighter

This is what i claim to be original fighting game. It is definitely one of my all-time favorite games. I could go back and play this game at anytime and still have tons of fun. The best part was standing in a corner and doing RYU’s hadouken and upset my brother cause he could not time it. Love this game.

Super Mario Bros

An classic all the way. I still play this game when I go to my uncles house. I beat it at least a hundred times and I still all ways go back to play it. 

Mario Kart 64

Even though this was not in order from best to last this game is hands down my favorite game from my past. Either by myself or with other people. It is just generally fun and addicting. it the ultimate party game everyone can enjoy this game.

Welcome to the my new blog. My name is Chase Barnes and I am a gamer. Clearly from the back ground it is going to be about gaming. I can admit that I play games a lot and i am not saying that as a bad thing. I have been playing games for as long as i can remember. People always say that to much gaming can be bad for you, which in some cases i do agree. I will leave that for some other time. For now I will be talking about gaming and games from the past that we remember and the games coming out in the next couple of months, some of which can change a couple of things in the gaming, and all in between.  Lets do this.
